The current (and potential) bandwidth they are using is not cheap. Plus, they have to pay their employees a moderate salary based on a national pay grade scale and on top of all that they are going to need to make sure the Operating Officers receive a nice bonus and can afford to drive certain types of cars and have a healthy retirement fund, and...ad nauseam - more like add nausea.
